RESEARCH has discovered that some pupils have the fear to go to school because of being threatened, assaulted or harassed by classmates or schoolmates.
With this, everyone should be sensitive in handling bullying since it has a big impact on everyone’s life.
According to the American Psychological Association (APA), Bullying is an aggressive behavior that is intended to cause distress or harm, and that involves an imbalance of power or strength between the aggressor and the victim.
It really affects pupils’ well-being, behavior academic and social development.
Bullying is unacceptable.
It is important to respond to this serious issue….Bullying hurts and no one deserves it.
Everyone deserves to be treated with respect. Pupils who are bullied need to learn different ways of behaving.
Schools have responsibility to respond promptly and effectively to issue on bullying.
Schools prepared different interventions for both the bully and the bullied.
At Bongbongon Elementary School, we are committed to provide a caring, friendly and safe environment for all pupils so they can learn in a relaxed and secured atmosphere free from oppressions and abuses.                                                   Bongbongon Elementary School involved parents as well as stakeholders for Child Protection against Bullying.
Disciplinary Actions are used with interviews and records of incident is evident. (Desiree P. Dollezon)
