Drivers, operators of public utility vehicles in Cagayan de Oro City to undergo free seminar on traffic

MORE than one hundred operators and drivers of public utility vehicles (PUV) attended the launching of the PUV operators and drivers seminar on September 15 in Cagayan de Oro City.

The City Council committee on public utilities chaired by Councilor Teodulfo E. Lao in partnership with the Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) conducted the seminar which will be held every Friday and will run until December this year.

Lao pushed for the holding of the seminar to ensure that operators and drivers are well informed and have common understanding of traffic rules and regulations.

He added: “It is also time to encourage drivers, part sila sa atong kalihukan."

Lao stressed that all transport groups should help the city, the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB), and  police  in maintaining order in the streets.

“Aron mahimong hapsay ang kadalanan ... kung magtinabangay ta maanindot na puy-an ang atong syudad,” Lao added.
