The striking force

ASSESSING the true state of our country, I see we don’t have much problem for many years now.  Our only problem is some of our politicians who are fighting with each other.  Finger-pointing is given more emphasis as who really is the possessor of ill-gotten wealth. Our people are tired about it and just keep quiet, although some of us are already in the hills fighting. The problem with some of them, however, is they don’t know whom to kill. Almost always it is the poor farmers are the victims. The are robbed of their possessions and sometimes killed.

Who is this heartless woman from Cagayan de Oro who delivered a baby and threw the poor soul into the river? The fetus was found lifeless and carried by the current of the water into the ocean.
The police should investigate and  if the woman is found and identified, she should be prosecuted for the heinous crime she committed. This reminds me of Mother Theresa who recently was canonized saint when she said “if you don’t like your children, give them to me.” This kind of crime has been happening many times and I guess the authorities should be stricter on this regard. This is murder of an innocent baby and definitely a capital offense. If we only have the death penalty, she should go straight to the electric chair and into the flames of hell.

Just reading news reports from countries around the world is enough to make us realize how  dreadful our planet has become. So many countries have joined the race in manufacturing of deadly weapons, nuclear bombs, nuclear missiles, advanced fighter jets, submarines and many more. I am worried of our young children who are trying hard to make names for themselves, but whose lives are threatened by big conflicts that involve world powers. Honestly, I am always praying for world peace. At my age, I do not have much problem because I am now facing the twilight shadow of my life, but I think of my children and grandchildren whom I want to enjoy life..And I also  think of the people around the world who need to enjoy life.
The Internet
headlines today was about North Korea issuing another threat to reduce the United States to ashes. This is horrible. I think the young leader of that country who seems so enraged of the United States for no good reasons is insane and needs psychiatric help. He needs doctors to examine his brain to put him back to his right posture. I am so convinced something is wrong with him. He also threatened to sink Japan for supporting the new UN sanctions. North Korea deserves to be punished for its series of violations relative to deadly threats and plan to destroy mankind. Imagine this guy killed his own uncle who opposed his wrong ideas. He also had assassinated his top military officer for the same reason, I guess his mind is heavy with stress and needs rehabilitation.

The plan to release Jinggoy Estrada on bail on his multi-million plunder case will surely establish a bad precedent.  Other similar cases like that of Bong Revilla and a lot others that involved senators and congressmen must also be acted upon. Huge plunder cases are not bailable and should it happen in the case of Estrada, it means the beginning of jokes and comedies. Under the same authority, murder with rape and other matters may subsequently follow.

The ISIS group of terrorists has reportedly given instructions to abandon its terrorism driven Syria and Iraq and instead concentrate more in the Philippines. This is absolutely terrifying and going to be a big problem of our country. Apparently, this confirms that ISIS has been operating in our lands while we thought all the time  we were safe and economically sound.  What astonished me so much is how come these terrorists from foreign lads were able to penetrate our place and lord it out.

The fight in Marrawi between the government and the Maute terrorists is far  from being over. The terrorists, thought their number is dwindling, and still capable to fight displayed well their determination to win. One good thing is our soldiers are more courageous and with the equipment they are able to make advances everyday.  I hope our brave soldiers will make it. (Bennex News Service)
